“Suit My Heart,” tells the story of young girls abandoned by their parents and by the system, as they prepare to ‘age out’ of foster care. Scripted and directed by FGCU Professor Dr. Michelle Hayford, “Suit My Heart,” runs through April 17th at the Black Box Theatre on the grounds of Florida Gulf Coast University.
And, the non-profit Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County has instituted an Art Therapy Training Program to provide training and assistance to professional and family care givers to generate artistic expression from people suffering from dementia.
